Case Manager

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: The holder of this 25 hour/week position is the local community face and representative for the Rockbridge area and gatekeeper to VPAS in-home services through a comprehensive person-centered re-assessment process. The Case Manager is responsible for providing information on a wide range of topics and services to individuals 60 years and older and their caregivers including, making referrals and connecting resources to meet stated needs, determining re-eligibility for VPAS in-home services, and providing support and guidance to navigate the complex health and human services system. Custodial Specialist
VPAS is accepting interested applicants for a part-time Custodial Specialist in VPAS’ Staunton/Augusta/Waynesboro (SAW) Region.
DAYS/HOURS: 8 hours per week. The hours will be worked during the Monday through Friday timeframe at a schedule agreeable to both the selected candidate and the supervisor. Specifics can be provided upon request.
WORKSITE: Waynesboro VPAS Corporate Office, 325 Pine Ave, Waynesboro, VA 22980
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: The Custodial Specialist cleans the Waynesboro Corporate offices, Conference Room, Waynesboro Cafe, Restrooms, and SAW Regional Kitchen on a weekly basis so they are presentable for staff, volunteers, members, and visitors.
QUALIFICATIONS: Successful candidates must be able to work independently and complete tasks with little supervision, have good time management skills. Attention to detail, compliance with confidentiality rules, and sensitivity in working with vulnerable populations are a must.
