Harrisonburg Pollinators
Join us as Green Space Manager, Jeremy Harold, and Landscape Supervisor, Mike Hott, present the Harrisonburg Pollinator Program. Between Jeremy’s background in forestry and green space management and Mike’s experience as a local beekeeper, pollinator landscaping expert, and arborist, there is a lot to learn about how they are collaborating with local organizations to make Harrisonburg a more pollinator-friendly city.
Learn about the background of the program, the importance of enhancing pollinator habitat in the city, and recent accomplishments through their efforts. You may even learn a little about beekeeping and honey extraction!
